Inaugurated at the end of 2011, the Bulevar Turistico del Atlantico (BTA) directly links the international airport of Samana El Catey (AZS) to Las Terrenas through the seaside cliffs and offers breathtaking panoramas.
The BTA is the last addition to the Juan Pablo II highway, which links Santo Domingo to El Catey, the entrance to Samana Peninsula, and reduces the transit time from the Santo Domingo Las Americas (SDQ) airport to Las Terrenas to a small 1h30 !
